This presentation offers an introduction to different genres and encourages pupils to use their school library during a hands-on task. Trialled at primary school to allow children to explore the shelves and unpick what their understanding of writing styles / jacket designs, pupils were highly motivated.
A great way to get children to explore and discuss reading materials!
You will need to purchase lemons to accompany this presentation on using the senses in your writing… but this lesson has been trialled and guarentees laughter, smiles, grunts and sour faces… as well as some great writing.
It’s a lesson they won’t forget!
